We're are currently in Nha Trang, Vietnam. We arrived this morning via an overnight bus from Saigon (that's a whole story in itself). Unfortunately, traveling to Chiang Mai (supposedly THE spot for the Thai New Year) has proven to be a little more difficult than we had hoped. The original idea was to be in Northern Vietnam around the 12 of April and then make a clean transfer to Chiang Mai. Some could say we underestimated the magnitude of this festival. To give you an idea: There are approximately 74 buses that depart from Bangkok to Chiang Mai on a daily basis. They're all booked around the time we had hoped for, imagine that. It's a minor set back at this point - a direct result of traveling by the seat of you pants.

I, Ryan/Gino would like to apologize, on behalf of the both of us, for the poor maintenance of our site. I assure you we will be back on track soon enough. We look forward to reading your comments/emails.

Sounds like your having an amazing time, I am so jelous you have no idea. Life in england is fairly shitty right now although i am living in Cambridge Uni at the moment. Make sure you take advantage of a few Batty Boys before you leave the east. Gino watch out! I traveled with Ryan for a bit, at first its all nice but then he starts talking about batty boys all day and it gets a bit awkward.

Love this page, it's so great to hear about what you are up to on the other side of the world. You aren't missing anything here in Chicago, though we are missing you. Good luck getting a bus to your destination. I look forward to the next entry!
